Components

A single SARS-CoV-2 RT-LAMP bead is ready-made pre-mix
consisting of Bst polymerase, reverse transcriptase, Covid-19 specific LAMP primers, dNTPs, dUTPs and the necessary salts required to carry out the reaction.

Storage

Store at room temperature, valid for 6 months.

Instructions

1. Prepare the number of beads required for your test.
2. Prepare the reaction mix accounting for one bead.

3. Incubate at 65°C for 30 minutes. Do not consider results after 45 minutes.
4. Observe color change. Pink is (negative/no reaction); Yellow is (positive).

Notes

1. Perform the experiment following good laboratory practices.
2. Prepare the reaction mix and addition of templates in separate rooms to avoid contamination.
3. Avoid prolonged exposure of the bead or reaction mixture to air.
4. The colorimetric system is based on pH. Ideally the template used must be dissolved in ddH₂O.
5. To prevent contamination, do not open the completed LAMP reaction tube after heat incubation.
